B&Bs and hotels in Brodick: the full list, checked
Brodick has about a dozen places to stay, most of them small. This list is built from VisitArran’s 2026-27 guide and each place’s own website, so it leaves out the ones that have closed.
Checked October 2026 at the sources named on the page.

Sources: VisitArran’s 2026-27 visitor guide and each business’s own website, read in October 2026. Self-catering cottages and flats in and around Brodick (Strathwhillan Cottage, West Knowe Farm Stay, Woodlea and others in the guide) are booked through their owners.
Choosing between them
For a single night off the ferry, stay near the pier. Belvedere, Hunters and Dunvegan House are all within a few minutes of the boat, and the Shorehouse’s apartments are by the pier itself. If you are carrying a heavy pack, that matters more than any difference in breakfast.
For a family, or for a wet-weather plan, Auchrannie is the obvious one: it has two leisure clubs with pools and an indoor play barn, and it is a walk from the village centre rather than in it. The Ormidale is the place to stay if you want a pub downstairs.
The Douglas Hotel was the big seafront hotel by the pier. The Buzzworks group announced in July 2026 that it had agreed to buy it, would keep it trading through the summer, then close it for a refurbishment over autumn and winter and reopen in spring 2027 with 21 redesigned bedrooms. That leaves fewer rooms in the village through the winter of 2026-27.
If Brodick is full
Lamlash is the next village south and has two hotels (the Glenisle and the Lamlash Bay Hotel) and a vegan B&B, Stonewater House. Whiting Bay has the Burlington Guest House, Blackwaterfoot the Kinloch Hotel, and Lochranza the Lochranza Country Inn and Butt Lodge. Where to stay on Arran compares the villages, and the bus guide shows how they connect to the ferry.
